"I’m Michael in The Lost Boys!!!! Can’t believe I’m here. Doesn’t feel real. Originally I almost passed on this audition because acting wasn’t at the forefront, I was doing some woodwork for a client and i really needed the cash but my agent basically told me you’re dumb if you don’t put this on tape. I listened to the Belong to Someone demo later that day and broke down crying in my parent’s garage. I had just moved back home with really no idea where my life was going at the time and every lyric hit me like a semi going 100mph. The rescues did a number on me and continue to wreck me with every song we get to sing in this show. "

"My boy Clinton Roane JUST swung on for his Broadway debut in Buena Vista Social Club. There’s no words to describe how proud of I am. He is perseverance personified. We did Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl together and that in it of itself was such a milestone for both of us. To be debuting on Broadway the same year after? Insane. "

"Operation Mincemeat!! At Broadwaycon there were a number of shows doing their 5 minute sets for the public. The Mincemeat cast and I got corralled into the same dressing room backstage. They were just the best and freaking hilarious."
